Start in Casablanca, where your guide meets you at the airport or your hotel. You’ll drive straight to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Check into your riad or hotel, then spend the afternoon exploring Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets. Enjoy a relaxed walk, pop into local markets, or try Moroccan food at a cozy café. You’ll sleep in a traditional riad or hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. 

Have breakfast in your riad, then leave for Fes. Once there, a local guide greets you and shows you the city’s highlights. Walk through the old streets, listen to stories from the past, and take in the architecture. Enjoy lunch in the bustling medina, where you can taste real local flavors. At the end of the day, settle into a riad right in the heart of Fes’s medina for a restful night. 

After breakfast, head toward the desert. You’ll stop in Ifrane, a town known for its clean streets and greenery, then drive through the Middle Atlas and pause at a cedar forest to watch Barbary apes. Break for lunch along the road. Continue through the lush Ziz Valley, filled with palm trees, before reaching Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara. Here, get ready for a camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Pause to watch the sunset, then arrive at your desert camp. Relax in your private tent, enjoy dinner, and gather around a fire for Berber music under the stars. 

Wake up early to catch sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, ride a camel or take a 4×4 back to Merzouga. Your guide then takes you through Rissani’s market (if you visit on a market day), and then to the impressive Todra Gorge for a walk along the river. Travel through the scenic Dades Valley, surrounded by rock formations that look like giant monkey fingers, and spend the night in a hotel in Dades Gorge. 

On your last day, drive to Ouarzazate, sometimes called “Africa’s Hollywood” for its movie studios. Visit Atlas Studios if you want to see famous film sets. Next, explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, known from movies like The Gladiator. After lunch at a local spot, cross the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying wide views, before reaching Marrakech in the late afternoon. Your tour wraps up here.
